Haveing Uploaded My Font cover magazine the central image had gone a bit corrupted therefore i would like to take note that the image in fact is actually clear.

This is My Front Cover Magazine, I created this magazine in Adobe Illustrator, and edited the images useing my photoshop skills. I stuck to a set colour scheme of Green,white and black. I also ensured to keep to a similar font throughout so that it is easier for people to read and understand. I also ensured my magazine had the essential features that is required for a front cover such as a price, barcode, main image, title and sell line.

Target audience-

The target audience for my magazine is for people who have an interest in alternative scene music, my target audience is also for both male and female and is aimed mainly towards the younger generation preferable ages 15-30, however any one of any age group who has an interest in this genre of music this magazine will be aimed towards them aswell. My magazine will have some informal language in it so that it can relate to my intended audience as well as make it seem more personal to the audience.

Style, genre and time of music:

The style of my magazine is going to have a range of styles and interesting features based upon alternative, indie and rock music; however my magazine is mainly going too based upon the genre of alternative rock. The music information within the magazine will be more modern. It is generally aimed towards those of younger generation who like this genre of music and are interested in concerts, instruments, interviews and other interesting features.

How often will my magazine be produced:

My magazine will be produced fortnightly


The cost of my magazine

My magazine will cost around £2.10; this price will also include any “freebees” that my magazine might give away such as stickers, posters e.t.c.

My magazine will be glossy rather than being more like a newspaper.

Choice Of Front Cover Magazine

In the beginning of creating my magazine i done a first draft i then created a poll so people could tell me what one they liked the best i then used there votes aswell as my own personal opinion on what magazine was the best to have as my "Final Magazine", i come to realise that my first draft magazine was "Electic" and dident suite the genre of my magazine i also thought that not many people like all types of music so it was safer to stick to one set audience for example people who liked rock therefore my magazine would be a "Rock Magazine".

The above magazine is my first draft magazine and as you can see it has a varitey of genres and also is to over crowded with text confusing the reader. I therefore made my magazine easier to read with sticking to a set colour scheme as well as keeping the fonts the same or similar as shown below:

As you can see the above magazine is more suitable to my target audience and is easier for the reader to understand, also it isnt over crowded with different colours and fonts and is set out in a professional manner, i therefore choose this as my "Final Magazine"
